3 KLDW ballet academy students participated at the 2nd AYGP, a youth ballet event with international influence. A jury of renowned experts in the field of ballet is invited to create a fair, impartial and open competition environment to ensure the professionalism and authority of the competition.

KLDW 8th Annual Production
at Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC), Theatre
The program opens with ‘Harlequinade Grand pas de deux’ followed by ‘The Ugly Duckling’, an original full-length children’s ballet based on a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.
Part two presents ‘The Dream Scene’ from Act 2 Don Quixote featuring award winners Adia Sofia as Dulcenia, Kyra Wong as Queen of Dryads and Ling Jong Yi as Cupid, ‘Pas d’Esclaves Grand pas de deux’ from Le Corsaire, ‘Blue Bird Grand pas de deux’ from The Sleeping Beauty and ‘Sylvia Grand pas de deux’ performed by Rino Fujihashi and guest artiste, Dominic Lor.
There will also be a contemporary work, ‘Black & White’ performed by the senior class students.
